Our online GCSE Maths course is ideal for those with busy work and family commitments. The Maths course is delivered over 15 weekly classes – each class lasting 90 minutes. Unlike other online courses which rely on pre-recorded videos, our highly experienced teacher will teach each class ‘live’ – and is immediately available to answer any questions or queries. The Online Maths Course begins with the basics and covers everything you will need to secure a Grade 5. No attendance is required to complete the Online Maths Course and the examinations will be taken at our own examination centre in Birmingham. Your course fees include your examination fee so there is nothing more to pay.

Online GCSE Maths Course is designed for people who require qualifications for career progression. There are many professions that require a grade 5 in Mathematics: Police Officers, Nurses, Armed Forces, Health Care, Social Care, Teaching, Child Care and many more. GCSE Maths is mandatory for college and university admission.

Online GCSE Maths Course FAQs

How is the course organized?

The whole course is designed to cover all of the necessary  maths required to gain a grade 5 in the Foundation GCSE Mathematics. Each class focusses on a specific element of the course syllabus.

Do I have to pay any additional fees?

No, the course fee includes tuition and your examination fee. There is nothing more to pay.

Where do I take the exam?

The Foundation GCSE Maths examination is taken at one of our centres in Birmingham. The venue, date and times of your exam will be emailed to you several weeks before your examination.

How are results sent?

The examination board will send us your Statement of Results which we will email to you on results’ day.

Do I need any previous knowledge of maths?

The course assumes that the candidate has no prior knowledge of GCSE Foundation Maths.

Can I complete the course and then request to be entered for the Higher GCSE Maths examination?

The course is designed to cover the Foundation GCSE Maths syllabus. It will not be possible to be entered for the Higher GCSE Maths examination.

What happens should I fail?

You will be able to re-sit at the next examination series (either summer or autumn).
A resist fee of £180 will be payable.

Do I get a certificate?

Certificates are usually available several months after the results have been emailed. We post candidates’ certificates by recorded delivery.

What happens should I miss a session?

Our tutors record the lessons so the recording will be made available to those who miss a class. The tutor will also offer support to any candidate who requires it.

Is there homework?

The tutor will set homework for candidates – around 30-45mins per week.

Should I get a low mark can I request a re-mark?

Details concerning re-marking of exam papers will be given in the results email.

Are these the same exams taken in schools and colleges?

Yes you will be taking the same exam as students in schools and colleges – on the same day and same time.
