A Level Psychology Course AQA Course

A Level Psychology Course is an academic qualification that is widely valued by universities throughout the UK.




English Maths Science Tuition and Examination Centre (EMSTEC) offer a ‘fast track’ A Level Psychology Course. Based at our centre in Birmingham, students attend one day a week. We offer ‘accelerated learning’ and teach the full A Level syllabus in one academic year. The A Level course will be facilitated by our experienced Psychology teachers.

Course Details

This course enables you to study for an A-Level in Psychology by distance learning at home or at work. Your course materials will be sent via email or by post, you choose. Full tutor support will be available via email, so help is only a click away! Your course will include self-assessment exercises and tutor-marked study questions, so you can monitor your progress.

Upon successful completion of this home learning course you will receive an A-Level in Psychology issued by AQA.

Successfully completing this course will enable the student to:

  • Gain up to 56 UCAS points to help you land your dream place at university.
  • Study at your own pace with no strict deadlines to contend with.
  • Develop your skills and open doors to a fascinating range of career options including occupational psychology, clinical psychology and forensic psychology.

Please note that under the new A Level specifications, the AS Level is now a separate qualification, and does not count towards the full A Level.

  • Type: Written examination.
  • Duration: 2 hours.
  • Weighing: 33.3% of A-Level.
  • Total Marks: 96.
  • A mixture of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing
