_No, A Level Portuguese focuses on listening, reading and writing._

**How does the listening examination work?**  
_Candidates are provided with their own MP3 player onto which the listening files have been downloaded; you will need to provide your own noise cancelling headphones or earphones which has a jack connector._

**Do I need to bring copies of my research or the set texts to the exams?**  
_No, these are closed book exams, although extracts from the set texts may be given in the exams._

**Am I allowed to use a dictionary in the exams?**  
_No, dictionaries are not allowed for any of the exams._
